Kansas City Power & Light is an electric utility with multiple generation facilities and a large distribution grid. At year-end 2003, KCP&L owned and operated utility assets of $3.3 billion with total annual revenues of approximately $1.0 billion.

Insei has worked with KCPL to design and implement a complete information security program for the entire enterprise.

The Insei team has helped in every aspect of the program, including designing the organization, assisting in evaluating potential employees, performing risk and vulnerability assessments of applications and systems, and developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
